My favorite style of Smith Corona and the famous “electric assist” first version where carriage return and back space are manual.
Powers on well, plug in is in excellent shape.
I’ve had it for sale and then changed my mind and decided to keep it. Now the prospect of moving has me downsizing.
It was an eBay purchase a while back - arrived with broken platen knob (that I replaced - see photos). It was also a bit out of alignment and I had a professional get it as optimal as possible - please check out typeface examples. It types super fast - space bar moves ahead an extra space if I try to type too fast.
Includes new ribbon
Case lacks inner hardware but I’ll be sure to pack with extra padding and care for safe shipping.
