Found online: Truth is William Joseph Snelling’s scathing (and occasionally rude) critique of early nineteenth-century American poetry and poets.

This smaller, almost 200 year old book is in overall fair condition for its age:

• Cover: loose (front). Marks, scuffing and wear at edges and corners
• Spine: heaving wear, outside is missing and/or tearing off
• Pages: overall decent condition for its age with age marks, foxing, folded corners and small tears. Several pages are sewn back in (see pics)
• Edges: uneven with age marks and darkening
• Measures approximately 6.5" x 4"
